British influenced and picturesque Victoria, BC, boasts numerous public gardens, shopping, and tea rooms and is a well-known get-a-way destination as well as popular port of call for cruises.  Make sure to get a box of Roger's Cholocates or Murchie's tea for souvenirs.

Sightseers will want to wander over to Beacon Hill Park for a view of the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.  Shoppers will find art galleries and craft boutiques on Antique Row and generally all over the area.

A visit to Victoria wouldn't be complete without a visit to Butchart Gardens and its tea-room.  You should also experience tea at the Empress Hotel - a local tourist attraction known for it's olde-world atmosphere.

Outdoor enthusiasts may rent a kayak, canoe or powerboat.   You can rent a seaplane for a day trip to nearby Vancouver.  Bird lovers will be sure to visit Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary.
